research :Southbank

Southbank is another place that has inspired me , mainly to do life drawing , my illustration project , was to sit at the Southbank and do a series of quick yet detailed drawings of what you see and how you see it , i really like doing a perspective style to drawing and i feel Southbank has that , i can sit there for hours and just draw the river , bridge and all them have a unique way of looking at it , and its impossible to have exactly the same as someone else , 

I also felt I could get creative with so many other uses of materials , like for instance I would use crayons , pencils , charcoal and it would really make Southbank come to life , Southbank also has places that you can sit there by yourself and just get lost in your work , which is why this is one place that I do instantly get inspired to just draw .

Its drawing life as you see it and I love that , and it really strengthens up my work in general , my illustrated skills have gone up just by sitting there and drawing what I see.

research: London

London

This city really does inspire me to be very artistic , recently I did a project for graphics which involved us going on a cultural hunt and going a round London completing mini tasks and getting to know London , even know I have grown up there all my life there are still things I did not know , like how many galleries there are down there and how much to draw , and every now and again I like to sit there in central London and draw for a bit and I just get so inspired you can sit there and watch people in everyday life walk around and you can really try and capture the energy of London , and draw what you see , and it makes me bring out the artist in me whether it is drawing or , just simply  taking a photo , its can really capture the mood and that is why I think London is very inspiring and it had inspired a lot of my work , in every educational establishment I have been in , I have had some form of a trip that has involved going central London whether it is a gallery or just to look around , its very artistic .

This is one gallery that I really liked as it was all about portraits and I am really inspired by it , because I love the way portraits can be portrayed in any form and way ,Every time I enter that gallery I instantly get inspired , we went on a trip there with the class and we had to draw portraits that we find interesting and  did so many as it fascinates me .

This one was done on a actress I like and I found it really interesting how the colors reflect her personality, all just from one painting and I really enjoyed watching the different styles and how the painting as bought the images to life.

I do feel that seen, as I want to be an illustrator I feel that portraits relate to illustration in a lot of way , because its all about showing your interpretation of what you see , and bringing it to life using color and painting and though .

I really do enjoy the national portrait gallery more then the rest , it definitely , inspired me to keep at it .

This exhibition I felt was very relevant to the course that I am doing, which is graphic design and illustration , as this exhibition highlights the British designs of graphic design throughout the ages , because as a graphic designer I feel I should be educated as to how the world has changed ,nothing stays the same , in life we have to move with the times and change and improve on what is already out there to see , this exhibition was so cool and fun to see , it really made me think and get in the way of always trying to find new opportunities and not just hoping that the perfect job would turn up and how you need to create your own opportunities .I was inspired by this exhibition even before I saw it , my attention was grabbed because I saw some isotypes which I used in my graphic lesson and then I realized that was relevant as them symbols also change throughout the years as people need different forms of communication , life will never stay the same , its like time always moving and always changing , which was the whole point of this exhibition

This artist has always been an inspiration for years , as I love the way ,he use little shapes to create one big image ..

This image is one that I used t do in my A level art it really inspired me to be in artist and be free to do anything I like and just go with it , I liked how all the mini shapes came together to make a face and I found it really inspiring .

Pablo’s work really inspired me , even know it is more on the side of fine art and I wish to be a illustrator / graphic designer , I still feel like this has a lot to with the type of artist I wish to be , also when I doodle at home I always tend to work in this style of Pablo , random shapes and also how it teaches you to look at the bigger picture .

Another aspect of Pablo’s  work that Love is his use of lines , when I draw on my graphics tablet I am always drawing in this style , .
